She began her career designing, developing, delivering and implementing training programs, which eventually led to managing a Learning and Development function of MBA Trainee Programs for several large, national banks.
In 1994, Lauren joined the Capital Group Companies, a leading global investment management organization. As senior manager and vice president of the Corporate Talent Management group, Lauren worked in a global capacity supporting the organizational and talent initiatives of the organization’s major business groups, which included assessing talent readiness, succession planning, team development, executive coaching, change management, project management, competency development and performance management.
In her consulting role, Lauren leverages her corporate experiences by partnering with business leaders in for-profit and not–for–profit organizations. She applies her relationship-building, coaching and strategic-planning skills to further the strategic goals of a variety of firms and independent schools. Lauren works exceptionally well with executives, senior leadership teams and functional teams. Her thorough analysis of an organization’s needs results in a clear and focused process and solution. She excels in creating and facilitating group processes – always with an eye on the tangible business result.
